Fyffe Beautification Award
 |
Fyffe High School has been named the winner of the Town of Fyffe’s Beautification Award for November. According to Mayor Larry Lingerfelt the beautification improvements made to the Football field was the determining factor for the award.
“Volunteerism at our school has long been a powerful force to get things done. Volunteers have been heavily involved in making needed improvements for all our children of the Fyffe area since the school was first formed. I have always been very impressed how our people come together when a project at the school is needed.”
According to Lingerfelt the Fyffe Athletic Club headed by Boyd Graben has done an excellent job with both the playing field and other portions of the stadium. The addition of shrubs and flowers to the facility and especially the two beautiful new metal Red Devil Arches placed at the two entrances has made the stadium a very attractive addition to the school campus.“
Our school is a very important part of all our lives and impacts every family in Fyffe and the surrounding area. We love our school. Without it we would just be a crossroads. It is good to see such eye-catching improvements to the school grounds. It is a great indicator of the pride in our community and makes a very positive impression on everyone that views it.” Mayor Lingerfelt explained.
